Recently, I spoke with a man named Bill [Bill is a pseudonym to protect him from potential repercussion or harm]. The following is the story he related to me when we met recently.

Bill is a former Muslim. He was born into a Muslim family and grew up as a Muslim in Iran. In his teen years he moved with his father and siblings to America.

Bill is now a Christian, by choice. Why? He said “Islam is a lie!” He said “the Imams lie.”

Punishment for apostasy in Islam is punishable by death by beheading with a scimitar.

He shared with me that his “Grandfather was an Imam in Iran.” Bill’s Father and his Uncle had questions about Islam versus Christianity. Bill said that his Uncle directly questioned his Grandfather. “The questioning irritated my Grandfather and my uncle was soon beheaded.” Bill and his family understood that it was the “questioning of Islam” and putting it into a bad light which caused the beheading.

This caused fear in Bill’s family because they had many of the same questions regarding Islam versus Christianity. Bill said his father chose to leave Iran shortly following his Uncle’s beheading to come to America for fear of his and his family’s life.

Upon arrival Bill’s father soon “married an American woman to gain U.S. citizenship,” he said. Within a year after that, the Grandfather came to the U.S. to live with Bill’s family. Bill said, his Grandfather “slapped” the American woman around “because she was not Muslim.” Additionally, the Iranian Grandfather “called her filthy names and constantly cursed her,” he said. Bill said this was all “in accordance with the Koran”. He said his “Grandfather told her she must convert or die.”

“They [Kafirs] will be cursed, and wherever they are found, they will be seized and murdered. It was Allah’s same practice with those who came before them, and you will find no change in Allah’s ways.” Koran 33:60

“Someone broke into our house one evening while she was alone,” Bill said. Bill’s new stepmom told him she suspected it was an “assassin.” The assassin searched the house and she hid in the bathroom, Bill said, “she climbed out of a window and never returned.”

Bill converted to Christianity based on his direct experience with Islam growing up and what he saw and experienced. He said there is “fear of death” for questioning Islam.

Bill left home shortly after his stepmom fled for her life. He said his father sold their home and moved to another city.

Police reports were filed. Suspects were questioned. The Grandfather was freed as the police could not pin anything on him directly. This happened in America!

Understanding Islam

There are two types of Islam: Shia, and Sunni. They operate similarly, but with different roots and authority.

Under Sharia nothing about Islam may be criticized. Islam is not just a religion, it is a political governmental system.

Before one can understand Sharia, you have to learn three books that are the foundations of Sharia: the Koran, Sira and Hadith. Each ruling or law in Sharia is based on a reference in the Koran or the Sunna (both the Hadith and Sira). Each and every law in Islam must have its origins in the Koran and the Sunna.

All of Islam is based on Sharia law. Sharia law is based on the principles found in the Koran, the Sira (the biography of Mohammed) and the Hadith (a brief story or tradition about Mohammed). The Bukhari is one of the Hadiths. There are no common principles between American law and Sharia.

Every facet of life is governed by Sharia from theology and law to what foods to eat and how to go to the toilet. Sharia is the basis for every demand and move that Muslims make in any society. This is where the conflict of cultures are clashing in America and Europe. Western Civilization–Christianity–brings freedom, whereas in Islam there is no freedom.

Under Sharia law there is no freedom of: religion, speech, thought, expression, press, religious beliefs, people. Under Sharia law, there is no women’s equality, no democratic governance, and no equal justice for all. Under Islam non-Muslims cannot bear arms. The U.S. Constitution would not exist under Islam, it is jahiliyah, their word for a document of ignorance, and must submit to Sharia. Thus, the government must submit to Sharia. Sharia is not interpretive and cannot be changed or questioned lest you suffer the penalty of death.

‘Kaafir’ or Kafir is defined as an “infidel” or one who rejects the deity of Allah in the Islamic religion.

Under Sharia, a non-Muslim is a Kafir, and can never be equal to a Muslim. A non-Muslim is considered a “dhimmis” or third class citizen. Don’t expect to be treated under the Golden Rule under Islam, it’s not there.

Kafir is an Arabic term meaning “infidel”, “rejector”, “disbeliever”, “unbeliever”, “nonbeliever”. The term refers to a person who rejects or disbelieves in Allah or the tenets of Islam, denying the dominion and authority of Allah, and is thus often translated as “infidel”.

If a person who has reached puberty and is sane, like Bill, voluntarily apostatizes from Islam, Islam says he deserves to be killed. This was the case with Bill’s Uncle and why Bill’s Father chose to leave Iran for America and why Bill’s stepmom was in fear for her life.

Mohammed: “A Muslim who has admitted that there is no god but Allah and that I am His prophet may not be killed except for three reasons: as punishment for murder, for adultery, or for apostasy.” Bukhari 9,83,17

Apostasy includes questioning Islam or seeking or comparing other religions. Thus, my friend’s uncle was ordered beheaded by his own father! Unlike Christianity, Muslims serve their moon god out of fear, not out of gratefulness or love of his goodness toward them.

Bill said much deception is in Islam. This deception is called taqiyya, or “sacred deception”.

Jihad means war against Kafirs to establish Islam.

“You are commanded to fight although you dislike it. You may hate something that is good for you, and love something that is bad for you. Allah knows and you do not.” Koran 2:216

A Kafir, the non-Muslim, is cursed according to the Koran:
Koran 33:60, says, “They [Kafirs] will be cursed, and wherever they are found, they will be seized and murdered. It was Allah’s same practice with those who came before them, and you will find no change in Allah’s ways.”

The Koran says war is to be waged on the Kafir, the non-Muslim, until they convert, pay jizya or die.

“Make war on those who have received the Scriptures [Jews and Christians] but do not believe in Allah or in the Last Day. They do not forbid what Allah and His Messenger have forbidden. The Christians and Jews do not follow the religion of truth until they submit and pay the poll tax [jizya] and they are humiliated.” Koran 9:29

The Koran of Medina differs from the Koran of Mecca, in that the Mecca version has no reference to jihad. The Meccan version is the one most referenced by Muslims when saying it is the “religion of peace”.

Needless to say, Islam is not compatible with western Christian culture, and in fact is diametrically opposed to the liberty Christianity typically brings to men in Christian countries. The United States has recognized Islam for centuries as an enemy and oppressor. The origin of the term “leatherneck” for the marines came about as a result of fighting Islamic terrorists 200 years ago at Tripoli. For the U.S. and state governors to open up our country to Islam is a grave mistake as witnessed by the individual story above. But, there are many thousands more stories similar to this that we will never hear about.
