Folks on the left are spreading the lie America is a nation divided politically. The solution they suggest is always compromise. By compromise, they mean you and I give some, while they move the goal posts left once more. In this manner, they drag us incrementally to the left, year after year.

The truth is, America is NOT divided. We are under attack by the enemies of freedom, the enemies of individuality, and the enemies of traditional culture which produced American Exceptionalism.
Americans are not divided; we are under attack! And the difference matters. When our differences are inconsequential, a workable compromise is being tolerant of the other fellow having a different opinion.
I want my baseball cap straight forward as God intended. The other fellow wears his sideways to signal which street gang he is trying to join. Each of us thinks the other is wrong, but neither of us are harmed personally by allowing others the freedom we expect ourselves.
America is under attack, on the campus, in the street, and as depicted by the media. An attack is not a difference of opinion, it is an intentional, organized, effort to destroy the ideals and principles that make us Americans.
What do you do when you find yourself under attack? You fight back! Do you wait four years to get a legitimate president? No! You fight back as soon as you realize you are under attack. Make do with what you have and fight back now! Some day will be too late. . .
The left has not created a fad hairstyle, nor have they chosen a different way to worship the Creator. They are attacking America with the specific goal and intent of completely destroying us. They plan to erect a communist utopia on the wreckage of what old Benjamin Franklin once described as “A republic, if you can keep it.”
They are good at wrecking other cultures; but the communist utopia is always a stillborn monster, replete with pogroms, gulags, hunger, poverty, hyperinflation and misery. They only keep one promise. They do eventually make us all equal. We eventually become equally miserable and impoverished on the bottom.

“An attack is not a difference of opinion, it is an intentional, organized, effort to destroy the ideals and principles that make us Americans.”

So what portion of our culture is worth fighting for? What really matters? It all matters! It matters because every last portion of it is interconnected.
Our symbols matter, our flags matter, our words matter, books matter, speech matters, statues matter, institutions matter, traditions matter. They each matter because these are the substances from which culture is woven.
Our culture made western civilization exceptional in the history of the world. America the exceptional portion of western civilization. Culture is why the South is the premium portion of America the beautiful. When our culture is attacked, what time do you fight back? Immediately!

Sunday, December 7th 1941, the Empire of Japan made a cowardly surprise attack on the American base at Pearl Harbor. Thousands of Americans,

USS West Virginia on fire at Pearl Harbor December 7, 1941

both military and civilian, fought back that morning. They did not wait for Franklin Roosevelt to make an eloquent speech, or congress to act, the next day. They fought back immediately.

I believe the indomitable spirit to fight back is still within us all. Lying dormant at times, awaiting only a gentle reminder from your humble scribe. Understand my motivation to write and you understand militia is much more than green shirts and rifles.
Faced with an enemy who openly admits his goal is to “cancel” American culture; you need no approval from authorities before taking the moral high ground by fighting back – now!
I will not allow the left to change the meaning of words, or deny me the unexpurgated lexicon of our language. That means no words are inherently good, or inherently bad; rather only appropriate, or inappropriate, in any given circumstances. We can not allow our history to be mischaracterized, or the destruction of monuments we raised to commemorate it, go unpunished.
When do Americans fight? When we are attacked!

Seaman Second Class Dorie Miller

Once again, it is Sunday morning, December 7th 1941. Let’s follow a Black sailor, originally from Texas, now serving as a mess steward on the battleship West Virginia.

Anti-aircraft fire was “not his job” and Seaman Second Class Dorie Miller was not trained in the operation of the Browning .50 caliber machine gun. He did not contemplate his navel and reflect on the fact millions of his ancestors, like my own Irish ancestors, were brought to America as slaves.
Seaman Miller grabbed a .50 caliber machine gun and started shooting at attacking planes. In his own words “It wasn’t real hard, I just pulled the trigger and she worked just fine. I had watched the others with these guns. I guess I fired her for about fifteen minutes. I think I got one of those Jap planes.” Nobody on our side particularly cared if the attacking Japanese liked the word “Jap” or not.
Actually he is credited with getting TWO of “those Jap planes.” How did the racist US Navy react? They awarded Dorie Miller the Navy Cross, our nation’s second highest medal for valor in combat. Our next nuclear powered aircraft carrier CVN 81 will be the Dorie Miller. That will be the second ship to bear his name.
Miller was killed in action November 23, 1943 when the USS Liscome Bay CVE 56 was torpedoed and sank.
Every word in our language is appropriate at some time and place. The Bible also says, Ecclesiastes 3:8 “…there is a time for war.” We are under attack. That time is now.
