Security Council Summit on Nuclear Non-proliferation and D ...The UN Security Council.

In previous articles I have attempted to shed light on why the United States should not be involved in the U.N. and why every freedom loving person should do their own research on this organization. In this installment I continue to explore the Security Council.

Articles 39 thru 51 of the U.N. deserve scrutiny. Article 39 states that “the Security Council shall determine the existence of any threat to the peace, breach of the peace, or act of aggression and make recommendations,or decide what measures shall be taken in accordance with Articles 41 and 42, to maintain or restore international peace or security”.

This means all the power of the U.N. to maintain international peace and security rests with the Security Council. They have the power to say what is not acceptable and what will be done to correct it.

Since the U.N. Will tolerate no activity that threatens its rule over all nations any decent can be stopped by said Security Council. Remember the U.N. Wants to rule the world.

Article 41 sets out the non-military actions the Security Council may take, such as “complete or partial interruption of economic relations and of sea, air, postal, telegraphic, radio, and other means of communication, and the severance of diplomatic relations.” In other words the UN wants complete control over every country’s Galil - Revivalerability to communicate in any manner.

Article 42 lays out the military steps to be taken if other measures would or have failed to maintain the peace.

In the event military action is deemed to be needed then Article 43 in invoked. The Security Council will decide what military forces are needed, what countries will contribute these forces and where. In other words the UN will conduct the war to its benefit and not necessarily to the benefit of the parties involved.

Once military action is to be employed, Article 44 places the armed forces of participating member nations under UN command. This means the UN will make all command decisions for the prosecution of military actions. The participating nations no longer control their own military.

Articles 45 and 46 expand upon the two preceding articles. While article 47 establishes a Military Staff Committee whose function is to control and prosecute the military actions authorized by the Security Council. Articles 48, 49 and 50 further define the Military Staff Committee role.

Article 51 gives a country the right to defend against attack until the Security Council has been notified. At that point the Security Council takes over the prosecution of all military operations through the Military Staff Committee.

Through these articles the UN determines the threat, decides how to end the threat and who will participate in ending it. So much for a country’s right for self determination.
