Biden Plans to End Title 42, Creating Fears of “Colossal” Wave of Illegal Aliens this Summer

Leftists argue that Title 42 is immoral and prevents “migrants” from exercising their “right” to claim asylum.

This coming summer will likely be paired with a “colossal” wave of illegal aliens coming to our Southern border.

Republicans and moderate Democrats have raised concerns over the Biden administration’s plans to terminate the Title 42 border policy. Without title 42, U.S. border patrol agents will no longer be able to quickly expel incoming aliens as they have been for the past two years.

Title 42 was introduced by the Trump administration at the start of the pandemic to reduce the number of illegal aliens processed at the U.S. border. The rationale behind Title 42 was to limit the spread of COVID from illegal aliens to U.S. border officials.

One of the few things stopping illegal aliens from flooding into this country under the Biden administration is Title 42. For example, approximately 55% of arriving illegal aliens were returned via this order in February.

 

The Biden administration plans to end Title 42 by May 23rd. Those within the Biden administration have expressed that by waiting until May 23rd, border officials will have sufficient time to prepare for the coming onslaught of illegal aliens.

Without increasing funding and resources for the Southern border, officials have no means by which to prepare themselves for the coming wave of illegal aliens. The Biden administration pretends to be considerate towards border patrol agents by waiting until May 23rd, but, in actuality, they have shown their callous regard for our brave border agents. These agents face millions of potentially dangerous interactions with illegal aliens every year and deserve better from the leadership of this country.

 

Moderate Democrats such as Joe Manchin, Mark Kelly, and Kyrsten Sinema have expressed serious concerns over Biden’s plans to end Title 42.

Congressman Chip Roy, R-Texas, District 21, challenges Chairman of the Judiciary Committee, Congressman Jerry Nadler, D-NY, District 10, for scoffing at children being raped and trafficked in Texas by illegal invaders coming across the Texas border, while defending Title 42 to prevent termination of the title.

 

When Senator Joe Manchin was asked about Biden’s plans to terminate Title 42, he had the following to say:

“I think they should reconsider. I sent a letter, I’m against removing Title 42. If anything we should be looking at permanency on Title 42. Maybe that would spur us to get a good immigration policy that works for Americans and secure our borders — the borders have to be secure.”

Like other moderate Democrats, West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin understands that most Americans do not support the radical immigration policy forwarded by Joe Biden. If Manchin and other Democrats from purple districts were to support Biden’s Southern border policy, they’d be removed from political office in the next election.

 

Arizona Senator Kyrsten Sinema echoed many of Manchin’s same concerns:

“Ending Title 42 without a comprehensive plan in place puts at risk the health and safety of migrants and Arizona communities. We’ll keep working with Arizona local leaders, DHS agents and officers, and community organizations serving on the front lines of the migrant crisis to hold the Administration accountable to ensure we secure the border, keep Arizona communities safe, and ensure the fair and humane treatment of migrants.”

 

Activists and radical Democrats, such as New York Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, support Biden’s initiative to end Title 42, despite pleas from moderates. The left argues that Title 42 is immoral and prevents “migrants” from exercising their “right” to claim asylum. All while the US taxpayer foots the bill and sacrifices the integrity and sovereignty of our country.

With Biden’s poll numbers reaching their lowest level since the start of his presidency, it is possible that he will reverse course and listen to the moderates from within his own party. However, it is more likely that Biden will continue down his radical path and end Title 42. If he does, brace for a summer wave of illegal aliens crossing the Southern border.
