NY Governor Andrew Cuomo’s malicious attempt to ‘cancel’ Thanksgiving may be his most audacious move to date by forbidding indoor gatherings of ten or more. Cuomo even suggested that New Yorkers cancel Thanksgiving all together. The governor said, “My personal advice is you don’t have a family gathering, even for Thanksgiving.”
The hypocritical governor then announced on November 23rd, that he would be celebrating Thanksgiving with his own 89 year old mother. Ironically, Cuomo forced everyone else’s grandparents into nursing homes earlier this year and allowed them to be overtaken by a murderous CCP virus.
That said, Cuomo called upstate NY sheriff’s who refused to enforce unconstitutional executive orders “dictators” saying they can’t ‘pick and choose’ what laws they will enforce. Yet, Cuomo, as well as the Sheriffs, have sworn an oath to protect and defend the Constitution of their state and of the United States.

Cuomo is attempting to get the Sheriff’s to enforce limited gatherings in personal dwellings. This is the same as the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) rules calling for one birth per family. They want to get up in your personal ‘business’ under the sheets.
The Hill reported that “Sheriffs in four New York counties said last week on social media that they would not be enforcing the coronavirus rules, claiming their jurisdiction does not apply inside people’s homes and that the orders were not constitutionally defensible.”
Last week White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany called state restrictions like Cuomo’s regarding the CCP virus during Thanksgiving holidays “Orwellian.” McEnany said Americans know how to take proper precautions on their own rather than government mandates with threat of punishment. She said “The American people know how to protect their health.”
She condemned the Oregon policy of arresting people. “It’s Orwellian in a place like Oregon to say if you gather in numbers more than six, we might come to your house and arrest you, and you get 30 days of jail time. That’s not the American way.”
Thankfully, there are Sheriffs and Police Officers across the nation who are refusing to ignore the US and State Constitutions which secure God given rights. Among those rights is the fact that Americans are to be safe within their home without molestation. This is a time when Americans should be relearning, or learning for the first time, the freedoms and liberties guaranteed by the founding documents of the US.
State Governors are pressuring Sheriff’s to enforce their dictatorial executive orders and other arbitrary rules instead of written law. The fact that this year we have seen unprecedented lawlessness pushed by sitting Governors is disturbing. They have acted without the authority of state legislatures in a dictatorial fashion.
Temporary emergencies already push beyond the limit of what is Constitutionally acceptable. Multitudes of “emergency orders”, supposedly over the CCP virus, break the written law of each state that governors are pushing in violation of their oath of office. Ironically, the CCP virus is typically no more deadly than the flu, which is suddenly nowhere to be found.
How long will Americans tolerate lawlessness by their executive branch of government? When is enough? When will the people push back against lawlessness?
These are questions the CCP has apparently formulated for US governors through the National Association of Governors (NAG), whose orders they seem to be following. Cuomo is the Chairman of the 50 member NAG.
When Americans feel their liberties are threatened they arm themselves. Currently, Americans are arming themselves at ever increasing rates. There are currently more American firearms owners than any standing army in the world, and more ammunition sold than in recent memory.
