Don’t be so naive to think that tyranny could not happen in the USA. Bad guys live in every century and in every culture, and they are waiting for the moment they can take advantage of people who cannot stop or defend themselves against them.
In 1929, the Soviet Union established gun control: From 1929 to 1953, about 20 million dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.
In 1911, Turkey began gun control: From 1915 to 1917, 1.5 million Armenians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.
Germany established gun control in 1938: From 1939 to 1945, a total of 13 million Jews and others who were unable to defend themselves were rounded up and exterminated.
China established gun control in 1935: From 1948 to 1952, 20 million political dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.
Guatemala gun control began in 1964: From 1964 to 1981, 100,000 Mayan Indians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.
Uganda established gun control in 1970: From 1971 to 1979, 300,000 Christians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.
Cambodia established gun control in 1956: From 1975 to 1977, one million educated people, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.
56 million defenseless people were rounded up and exterminated in the 20th Century because of gun control.
These are not the talking points of ‘gun grabbers’ but are facts of history. These people did not have to die. If they had had self protection in the form of firearms they could have at least defended themselves.
Our Founding Fathers were inspired and forward thinking to today and the potential for tyranny. They witnessed and experienced tyranny first hand when King George III, sent his troops to confiscate firearms, ammunition and gun powder in the American colonies prior to the Revolution.
Firearms in the hands of honest citizens save lives and property. Gun control laws prevent people from protecting themselves and their family. Those gun control laws adversely affect only the law abiding citizens! Not bad guys, criminals or those who seek to cause you and your family harm. There is an old maxim that says, “With guns, we are ‘citizens’ without them, we are ‘subjects’.
During WW II, the Japanese Army decided not to invade America because they knew most Americans were armed! If guns in the hands of the American people were a problem we would know it already because gun owners in the USA constitute the largest contingency of firearms owners in the world!
If American gun owners were an army it would be the largest armed army in the world! The only people who have anything to be concerned about these American gun owners are bad guys, would-be tyrants, and thieves and robbers who are all looking for the moment they think they can get you. Don’t be deceived by their serpent tongue.
If you value your freedom, tell all of your friends to support gun freedom! Yes, that means bad guys may get guns too, but bad guys are cowards looking for ways to take advantage and not get hurt. They never try to force a situation when good guys have guns, thus they are neutralized.
Should you get into a fight with bad guys, like happened to my Grandfather, the purpose of fighting is to win. He learned that after the first lesson, it never happened again even though they thought they could get away with it because he was an old man.
As a high school baseball coach I always trained my athletes that defense does not win games, it does not deliver victory! Defense only buys you some time until you go on offense and gain the ability to win victory. Firearms give you the ability to not only defend but go on offense and gain victory over an attacker or assailant from the beginning!
Remember that the sword is more important than the shield, and skill is more important than either. Train and prepare for the worst case scenario to protect yourself and your family against bad guys.
Switzerland issues a firearm to every household and expects them to know how to use it. The Swiss government not only issues but trains every adult in the use of that firearm. Interesting fact is, Switzerland has the lowest gun related crime rate of any civilized country in the world!
When Kennesaw, Georgia passed a law requiring all citizens in the city to own a firearm, the crime rate dropped to zero! Bad guys don’t want to deal with anybody who can fight back. Don’t allow Federal or State government to disarm you. Why would they want to do such a thing? You can be sure it’s to make certain you will jump through hoops and perform for them—don’t become a circus monkey for gun grabbers!
Don’t be so naive as to think it is for your protection! Don’t allow your government representatives to disarm you and prevent you from protecting your family! All while spending millions of your tax dollars to do so and make you an easy target for bad guys who will never surrender their firearms!
We’ve been blessed with a second Amendment for a reason, and it’s not just to go hunting! The 2nd Amendment is to prevent tyrannical government and bad guys from hunting you!
I’m a firm believer in the 2nd Amendment! You should be too! If you want to be safe from bad guys, promote Constitutional carry and freedom to own more firearms, not less.
