A questionable display in the SC State Museum has been pulled after citizens complained of the inappropriateness of the display.

A Columbia resident found the display at the museum when she took her young daughter to the museum to see the achievements of women. She said she was appalled and embarrassed when her ten year old was exposed to the inappropriate display.

She then contacted Pamela Godwin, the Midlands Director of SC Women for Trump this week and informed her of her negative experience at the museum. Godwin immediately went down to the museum to protest. She made a sign that said that the display violates “community standards” and called for its immediate removal. The display was removed within hours of Godwin making a stand and after the State Museum received numerous phone calls.

This display included a “Pussy” hat, funded with taxpayer money, was on display in the SC State Museum. It was removed when taxpayers complained about it.

Godwin said that many people had commended her in front of the museum for taking a stand against the display. She said, “if we don’t take a stand for righteousness we condone the evil.”

State Representative Stewart Jones of Laurens commented on Facebook, that “This display at the SOUTH CAROLINA STATE MUSEUM shows exactly how your TAX DOLLARS are being used against you! The South Carolina State Museum receives $3.8 million a year in public funding! It’s UNACCEPTABLE and the PERSON that MADE THIS decision needs to BE FIRED!”

The Columbia community and the Midlands are experiencing a resurgence of ‘holy boldness’ in recent days during the Covid crisis against the insurgence of communist agitators in the Columbia area. That reminds me of a verse from the scripture at Proverb 28:1, “The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.”
