“This is not a border problem this is a national problem. It’s the largest humanitarian issue in America now,” said Sheriff Mark Lamb from Pinal County, Arizona.
Border Patrol statistics show that in March there were more than 172,000 illegals detained. “There were 60,000 that got away,” commented Sheriff Tony Childress, of Livingston County, Illinois. “Who leaves their doors unlocked when they go to sleep at night? Why would we leave our nation unlocked and leave the public unsafe!” He added
The Sheriff’s have arrived on the southern US border with Mexico to help shore up the Border Patrol who are being overrun with illegal alien traffick. Those numbers show up to 5,000 illegals are detained daily.
A recent poll showed that most Americans hold President Biden responsible for the current border crisis. Sheriff Lamb said “this is a dangerous situation where people cannot leave their house because illegals are coming into their carport and house as soon as they leave.” Lamb continued that “the American people did not hear what they needed to hear from the President… we expected to hear more.” He commented that “The President doesn’t seem to care about what’s happening at the border, but local Sheriff’s do and we’re going to continue to stand up for the people and for America.”
The Biden administration including President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris have not given adequate support to local or border law enforcement to stop the invasion of this country. Lamb added, “we hear the voices of American’s about the border.”
Sheriff Mark Dannels of Chochise County Arizona said that “Border patrol morale is challenged right now due to lack of support. Their hands are tied from doing their job. They’re trying to secure the border and keep this country safe.”
Dannels added “when you do that it takes the morale away.” He said, “after the President’s speech last night, it’s an insult to every man and woman wearing a badge who’s trying to protect this border.”
