The events of January 6th have polarized the country into separate camps, but the fact remains we must have the truth to fully understand what happened. That truth must be filled with facts that are tangible and relatable to people to see what the gravity of the situation really is in this country.
Many people don’t understand that this is not business as usual. That great machinations and movements are taking place within this country and especially the District of Columbia which is preparing for an inauguration of the President of the United States on January 20th.
The Standard made contact with our friend Will “MustangMedic” Wieting who has been in the Washington, DC area since January 6th. We asked Will if he would allow us to share daily life in Washington to let us see what is actually taking place there. It is nothing short of astounding! A complete transformation of the city has taken place in a once vibrant and dynamic city–the Capitol of the free world–into what appears to be a communist state.
Will Wieting is holed up in Washington, DC almost as a hostage in his hotel room. A state of emergency has been declared and the city is like a ghost town. Barriers, fences and the National Guard are everywhere. Get the full story as Will gives video reporting from the nations Capitol.
We love our military, but we are not accustomed to seeing the streets of our nation’s Capitol full of uniformed military units with arms at their sides. Many have pondered if there is a coup d’état taking place. We don’t know that answer. Many have wondered if Joe Biden will actually be sworn-in. Again, we cannot answer that, because we only have the past to guide us as to what may happen in the future. What we can say is that nothing like this has ever happened that we can recall in our lifetime. This is new ground.
The past year has been a roller coaster ride of new and earth shattering change in America. A biological warfare attack on America with the corona virus. Then we had the George Floyd death, which was followed by rioting, burning and killing all last summer by paid communist agents Antifa and Black Lives Matter. These events were followed by Chinese Communist Party spy honeypot scandals involving elected officials around the country, including a now sitting Congressman, Eric Swalwell, D-CA, who was or is involved with a Communist Chinese spy named Christine Fang. Yet, Speaker Nancy Pelosi allows Swalwell to stay on the House Intelligence Committee. We then had election irregularities, voter fraud, and legislative hearings around the country that resulted in lawsuits and cases to the US Supreme Court. We then had the electoral college vote certification held, and a President Trump rally on the same day in Washington, DC. The rally and subsequent march to the Capitol was radicalized by a reported 266 insurgent Antifa members inside the US Capitol.
This writer remembers the DC downtown riots from January 2017, when Donald Trump was inaugurated. Perhaps preparation for that is what is taking place. We certainly hope that no more riots and mayhem occur in this country, we experienced that all last summer by Antifa and Black Lives Matter.
Over the past week when the city started closing down, a state of emergency declared, and everybody cleared out of the city, Will and all self respecting reporters, who were left stranded in the city, took to the streets to record what is happening.
