“God has equipped us for the Crisis in this country now”

Approximately four hundred pastors and ministry leaders gathered for an American Renewal Conference in Charlotte this week at the Marriott Renaissance Hotel. The attendees had lunch and time for conversation  together before the host emcee made introductions and the crowd heard from the live music group.

The keynote speaker at the Pastors conference was Bishop E W Jackson, a pastor, lawyer and former US Senatorial candidate from Chesapeake, Virginia. He was the intro man for for the NC Lt. Gov. Dan Forest. Jackson highlighted the crisis in America as “the breakdown of family, homes without fathers, children having sex changes” and more. The clergyman said “God has equipped us for the crisis in this country now.”

Rev. Bishop E. W. Jackson

Bishop Jackson said that in “1960, 75% of black children were born into married families with a father and a mother at home. Only 25% didn’t have a home that way.” He continued that “today it is just the opposite.”

“Destruction of the home is not by accident, it is by design.” He said “Marx designed the government to take charge of the family” and for them to depend on the state instead of God.

The gifted preacher related that he was in “Foster care” when he was a child and joined a gang by 9 yrs old. He said the Police came to his foster parents home looking for him one night.

“I was in trouble at an early age” and “something dramatic had to happen to save me from myself.” He remembered “that’s when my real father came and took me back” from his foster parents.

Jackson said his real Father told him “Look, every day with me can be a day of heaven on earth. Or every day, I will tear your behind all to pieces. It depends on what you want.” Jackson’s dad also told him, “‘I expect you to study. I expect you to do well in school. I expect you to obey me. And don’t come back to me with excuses, because I want you to make something of yourself.” From that point his life changed, his school grades improved and he wanted to do something with his life. He said “my father showed he loved me” and he “encouraged me.”

Jackson cited that “6,300 children died last year having sex changes, with 25,000 serious side effects from others having sex gender changes.” He said this is child abuse.

Speaking of the sudden transgender craze, he said there’s no such thing as “gender fluidity.” He remarked, “God has not confused the issue.” He continued “When my son was born I held him up and said, “it’s a boy.”

“It doesn’t matter if a man puts on makeup, earrings, and dresses like a woman–he is still a man!”

Bishop Jackson spoke directly to the pastors and said “the onus of correcting the problems of society is up to us.” He continued “We have allowed ourselves to be divided by denominations.”

The problem he said is that “the human condition is sin.”

He reminded the pastors that “Our country is at stake, we cannot be divided by denominations, race or anything else.” He said “we believe in one Lord, one faith, one baptism,” and “If you believe Jesus is God, we cannot be divided.”

He encouraged young people to “tell people that you want to do something with your life, don’t waste it.”
